Q: Hey Theodora, Are there any local clothing designers that you might recommend who do men's or unisex lingerie? I've come up short when it comes to finding anything that I would consider sexy rather than practical and thought you might have some suggestions.

A: This is such a great question! And to be honest, it’s something I have also researched over the years. Unfortunately, I have not found any great Australian designers creating sexy underwear that’s for men or considered unisex/gender-neutral. A lot of the Australian designers seem to draw inspiration from nature and while the garments are incredibly soft and in muted colours, I wouldn’t classify them as sexy.

On sexy, though, I’m not sure what you define as ‘sexy’ and given it’s subjective, you may not be drawn to the same kind of sexy as I am (and for the record, I do find a beautifully made black tight boxer brief sexy!)

So, I have compiled a list of the different brands creating different underwear styles. They are all international brands but I will update this list, if I do come across any Australians upping the sexy underwear game.
